On Tuesday 8th. October the COB is presenting a Carte-Blanche Concert.

In this special series, one of the ca. 30 members of the Composers’ Orchestra Berlin is spotlighted: this evening the music of bassist Dirk Strakhof is featured.

Dirk has been composing since the age of 16. His unconventional music has depth and originality. Although his earlier pieces were often dedicated to friends, these days he writes mainly for his piano trio ‘out of print’ and -of course- for the COB. In October 2019 the orchestra will be recording 9 pieces for the new CD ‘Vanishing Points’.
